In the Friday evening clash between Cardiff City and Wolves, 'Bleubirds' winger Junior Hoilett put his name in the headlines, by unleashing a stunning strike into the far top corner of the net, to put the hosts ahead.
The goal came thanks to a build up of pressure from the hosts; who, seeing that the clock was ticking into the final 15 minutes of the match, were keen to find a winning goal.
And so stepped up Canadian Junior Hoilett.
After a series of crosses into the Wolves penalty area proved unfruitful, midfielder Joe ralls thought to try his luck one more time.
Ralls curled a cross into the six yard box, which created havoc in the Wolves defence.
As the visitors tried to clear the ball, Cardiff players pounced on the rebounds, trying their luck from the perimeter of the box. But alas, none of these strikes would hit the target, as the Wolves back line remained resolute.
That was until a deflected shot fell kindly to the feet of Junior Hoilet, on the left hand edge of the penalty area.
Calm and composed, Hoilett took one the shot first time, arcing the ball into the far top corner of the goal.
It was a truly marvellous strike, worthy of any goal of the month or even an early contender for the goal of the season award.
