'He thinks he's as good as Zlatan, and that's why I love him'

A powerful striker who has proved himself in the Premier League and is not afraid to speak his mind? There might be more similarities between Marko Arnautovic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic than you might think.

Now plying his trade at West Ham, and managing to bag 14 goals in his first 36 Premier League games for the club, things seem to be on the up for the Austrian international.

A former team-mate of his while he was at Stoke City, Peter Crouch, has revealed what makes him so motivated to improve.

"There is one thing you must know about Marko Arnautovic if you want to understand what makes him tick: he believes he's the best player in the world." Crouch writes in the 'Daily Mail'.

"Marko splits opinion, but I love him. I really do. He is a maverick and unpredictable, but those traits are endearing.

"When he went to West Ham, I knew straight away their fans would love him and it is great to see he is flying."
