When you get called 'the new Haaland', you must be doing something right. Patson Daka has given us plenty of reasons to believe that he could be a new sensation. The 21 year old striker continues to go above and beyond, scoring 14 goals in his last 16 games, with seven in the month of Septmember alone.

Is Daka really 'the new Haaland´ of RB Salzburg? This is the question we are asking ourselves just months after the Norweigan's departure as we watch the rapid rise of the 21-year-old for the Austrian side.

The comparison between Patson Daka and the Borussia Dortmund goalscorer isn't that farfetched. After just 16 competitive games since football returned after the COVID-19 pandemic, the Zambian international has notched 14 goals and, as if that weren't enough, 3 assists.

But that's not all. If we focus on the month of September, the RB Salzburg goalscorer racked up seven goals in the space of just five games, stats that have made him stand out as the team's best finisher.

The four goals he netted in an Austria Cup game against third division side Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz, stand out.
