Paul Scholes is one of the most important Manchester United legends. He played during his entire career for the 'Red Devils', a total of 19 seasons, 712 games and 152 goals. This is why when someone in the United academy gets compared to him, he is taken seriously.
Hannibal Mejbri has been the latest to receive such praise. The 18-year-old midfielder already looked promising in the Under 23s and could start for the first team during the EFL Cup clash against West Ham.
He is a former French international player for the U16s and U17s teams, and a Tunisia international. Hannibal Mejbri already made his United debut last season. He played eight minutes against Wolves in the last game of the season.
Reda Bekhti, one of Mejbri's former coaches at Paris FC, claims that he can be the next Scholes: "He can turn out to be the future Paul Scholes at Manchester United. He has all the required skills to become a leader on the pitch".
"The Premier League demands athleticism and a great form, He can still put on more muscle. If he doesn't get injured he will impress Ole, I'm sure about that". he stated for 'First Times Finish'
