"The focus is shifting towards Feghouli, that is true," said the Italian team's coach, Luciano Spalletti.
"You [the media] are writing about it anyway, so there is no point in disguising the fact.
"The rest of our options to replace Juan Iturbe are rather more remote," The Gialorossi manager added.
The 27-year-old Feghouli arrived at the Hammers in the summer from Valencia, where he was a key player.
He has somewhat surprisingly failed to make an impact in the Premier League, making only one start so far this season.
