Haaland fires penalty to the clouds

Thirty-five minutes into the first half, Ilkay Gundogan's shot on goal hit Dayot Upamecano's arm and the referee, who was standing a few yards away from the action, awarded a penalty in Manchester City's favour.

Pep Guardiola's striker Erling Haalang picked up the ball with a lot of conviction and took charge of taking the penalty, but nothing went according to plan.

Surprisingly, the Norwegian striker's shot sailed well over the crossbar. The striker tried to shoot past goalkeeper Yann Sommer to settle the tie, but his shot to the middle went just over the crossbar.

Nobody could believe it in the stadium. Haaland gave Bayern some hope and also Upamecano, who did not have a good game in the first leg and in the second leg was also involved in a number of controversial plays.
