James Maddison's contract with Leicester runs until 2024. But he could pack his bags this summer, or at least that's what Arsenal are looking for.
The Gunners are looking for a way to convince the Foxes to let him go to the Emirates Stadium. The latest proposal from Arteta's team, according to the 'Mirror', has been the offer of Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock.
Arsenal would have no place for right winger Reiss Nelson. He made just eight first-team appearances last season and another six for the reserves.
Midfielder Joe Willock would also have no place in Arteta's plans. He played for Newcastle in 2020-21 and could be on his way out again.
These are not the only two players Arsenal have reportedly offered Leicester. A couple of weeks ago, the Gunners also included Maitland-Niles in the equation. Nelson was already offered then and the club is insisting on his name again.
