Gundogan to be announced as new Man City player soon

Ilkay Gundogan already knows where he will be playing next season. In fact, his arrival at Manchester City should become official on Thursday, as he is going to forgive Barcelona all the money to break his contract.

Barcelona have decided to get rid of one of their best players from last season. The economic problems at the time of being able to register players have led to his departure to the Premier League.

There he will be reunited with his former teammates, except for last season. It has only been a year since Gundogan decided to leave Manchester City at the end of his contract until his return.

If there was any doubt that the German was going to end up with the Sky Blues this season, that doubt was dispelled on Wednesday night, when player and manager met for dinner in a restaurant in the British city.

On Thursday he is due to officially rejoin Manchester City, as if the Barcelona move had been a loan move. In the meantime, the Catalan giants are awaiting developments to be able to register Dani Olmo, who they want for Saturday's match against Athletic Club.
