Guler could start on the bench due to 'fatigue', says Turkey's Montella

Turkey coach Vincenzo Montella revealed on Friday that Arda Guler has "a bit of fatigue" from the opening day match against Georgia and will meet with the player to decide whether to play from the start or come on "later" for Saturday's clash against Portugal in Dortmund.

After highlighting his attacking efficiency and remarking that it is not "difficult" for him to "handle players as powerful and good" as the Real Madrid midfielder, the Italian coach pointed to the player's fatigue in his pre-match press conference. 

"Tomorrow we will sit together and decide together whether he should play from the start or later. It's our second game. We will calculate the risk and decide accordingly," said the coach. "Arda Guler showed a slight sign of fatigue," insisted the coach, who has İrfan Can out.

Montella was also full of praise for Ronaldo: "He's an incredible player. He can score 50 goals in a season. It will be a difficult game because they have a player like him. We will focus on our own identity, our own game. We must show our patient game," he concluded.
