All of the information coming out of Valencia was following the same line, that Goncao Guedes and Carlos Soler were considered as part of the squad led by Gennaro Gattuso and were scheduled to re-join the team for the start of pre season on the 5th July.
However, it seems that the Italian manager has changed his mind recently. According to 'Marca', Valencia have decided to give Soler and Guedes extra holiday so that they can look for new clubs. The club's goal is for both players to rejoin the rest of the group this Tuesday to start to undertake medical and physical tests.
The aim is for both players to return to their respective holidays and search for an exit as soon as the team leaves for Switzerland on the 15th July. Roma are best positioned to sign the Portuguese international, while Valencia's number '10' will continue searching for a new club for next season.
It's worth noting that Valencia presented their accounts for this fiscal year and reported losses of 36 million euros, provided that they earned income of 37.7 million euros net from player sales, something which will not happen before 30th June. As a result, the club will begin the new fiscal year with losses of around 70 million euros.
