Guardiola could become Netherlands coach after leaving Man City

It is well known by everyone that Guardiola does not like coaching the same club forever. Now, as his contract at Man City expires in just over a year's time, some are thinking he could soon say goodbye to the Premier League side.

"I can't betray Man City," was the only thing Guardiola said in his last press conference when he was asked about his future. He said that, when the season finishes, he will sit down and talk to Man City and then he will decide.

The Netherlands heard his comments and they are apparently extremely keen to have him as their national team coach, 'The Mirror' reports.

According to the newspaper, the Dutch FA (KNVB) have already got down to work. They have been after him for some time. In fact, they tried to persuade him to join them before Man City renewed his contract until 2023.

Guardiola has never hidden the fact that he would like to be a national team coach in the future and so the Netherlands are working to try and get Guardiola. 

At the moment, the coach is only thinking about Man City and, whatever decision he makes on future, he will not rush to decide.
