Guardiola agrees to two year extension at Man City

Pep Guardiola will remain the manager of Man City until 2025. Even though it is not official, 'The Athletic' confirmed that the Spaniard has reached an agreement with the club. 

It is worth remembering that Guardiola's contract expired at the end of the current season. From then on, there was no certainty on what Guardiola was going to do. 

The agreement, according to the cited source, will be a one year contract extension until 2024, but with the option for both parties to extend the deal by a further 12 months. 

In fact, the contract will be the same type as the one signed in November 2020, which currently keeps him at the club until 2023. 

Guardiola arrived at Manchester City in 2016. He has managed to win four Premier Leagues, an FA Cup and four Carabao Cups, but has yet to lift the Champions League in Manchester.
