Gremio are interested in signing Matheus Fernandes. EFE

According to 'Sport', Gremio have reportedly contacted to Barcelona to try and get Matheus Fernandes on loan. He has played just 17 minutes for Barcelona.

Matheus Fernandes could return to the Brazilian League in search of minutes. The player is not getting game time, something which could be terrible for his development.

Deportivo Alaves ruled out signing the player and, according to 'Sport', Gremio have asked about the midfielder.

The Brazilian side are willing to get the player on loan until the end of the season.

Matheus Fernandes has only made one appearance for Barcelona and that was for just 17 minutes.
