Granada renew Soldado until 2021

Granada announced on Wednesday the continuity of Roberto Soldado for next season. The forward, who had signed only for a year in the summer with the intention of seeing what happened at the end of it, will continue to wear the red and white in Granada's most exciting year.

"The striker has become one of the pillars of the squad since he joined last summer and was chosen by his teammates as one of the four captains", Granada wrote in a brief announcement.

Soldado signed on a free after leaving Fenerbahçe and both parties decided to sign for just one season to test the performance of both parties, but the satisfaction has been maximum.

In fact, the Madrid youth academy graduate has contributed 11 goals and 6 assists in 39 matches, starting 34 of them, so he's made it clear that he's physically well and still has an eye for goal.

For his part, the player, in the middle of the beach and very happy, also shared the news on his social media with a laconic but forceful phrase: "I couldn't be happier".
