Everton are currently in 15th and only five teams have scored less goals in the Premier League after 14 matches. And to solve part of the problem, Marco Silva, the Everton coach, has asked the sporting director, Marcel Brands, for a striker.
The German edition of 'Goal', together with 'Spox', have spoken about the player chosen by Everton to bolster their attack. It is the Portuguese Goncalo Paciencia, a 25 year-old striker for Eintracht Frankfurt.
The striker is in his second season at the German outfit after being on loan several times from Porto. He was at Academica, Olympiakos, Rio Ave and Vitoria Setubal before signing for Eintracht.
Paciencia has got nine goals this season in 23 games in all competitions. He scored important goals against Leverkusen and Bayern Munich and he netted in Portugal 6-0 thumping of Lithuania.
His performances have made a Premier League side in Everton think about signing him.
