Arguably one of the biggest games of the Champions League season got underway at the Camp Nou, and the home supporters knew it.
Barcelona held a decent advantage heading into the second leg after coming away from Stamford Bridge with a 1-1 draw thanks to Lionel Messi's late strike which cancelled out Willian's earlier effort.
Chelsea were welcomed by an intimidating atmosphere with spine-tingling chanting from the hosts and a warning banner covering one of the stands: 'God save the king', it read, alongside a huge picture of Lionel Messi.
