Emre Colak was making his return to the Riazor Stadium in his second spell at Deportivo La Coruna. It looked to be the perfect debut as he scored to put his team 2-1 up against Racing Santander after falling behind. But then it went pear shaped.
In the 54th minute, the Turkish player swerved past defenders, nutmegged one and then hit a left footed shot past Luca Zidane. The Riazor erupted.
However, his joy was short lived as suddenly the cameras turned to Colak who was stunned. He had just been given a red card.
The referee, Ruben Avalos Barrera, had shown him a second yellow for jumping over the perimeter fencing and celebrating with the fans. Minds will go back to Diego Costa's dismissal v Getafe at the Wanda in 2018 which made the headlines.
According to the laws of the game, it was a clear second bookable offence. Fortunately for him, his goal counted and Depor held on for the three points.
