The teenager has yet to feature for Manuel Pellegrini's side so far this campaign, and could yet move abroad in the January transfer window.

Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach are the favourites to sign the player if West Ham agree to sell, with them alreaady tabling permanent moves for the defender in the summer.

Oxford has had two loan spells with the club, the second just as recently as last season, and are keen to make the move permanent for the talented youngster.

At just 19 years of age, Oxford has found it hard to break into the West Ham first team this season, and as such, he could decide to move abroad in order to increase his chances to get valuable first team minutes.

'Sky Sports News' understands that the Bundesliga club could move for Oxford as soon as January, but if not then, they will make their renewed interest clear in the summer.

In the past, Oxford has been linked to other clubs, such as Manchester City, Manchester United and RB Leipzig.

Therefore, if West Ham continue to limit his playing time, soon he will surely decide to take up one of the many offers coming his way.
