Gerrard to bring Bellingham to Liverpool
Jude Bellingham to Liverpool could become one of the main stroies in the summer transfer windows. The Borussia Dortmund player has the footballing world on tenterhooks which is placing him further and further away from his current club.
His transfer is thought to reach the highest figures in the next transfer window. Liverpool and Real Madrid have been the European clubs he has been most linked to.
When interviewed for 'AS', ex-Aston Villa coach Steven Gerrard joked about the possibility of getting the England international to the Reds in the summer.
"All that Bellingham's got to do is send me his timetable. I'll fly to Dortmund, take him out to dinner and then I'll bring him back to England", he said ironically.
In the same vein, he insisted that the Anfield side have to go all out to get him in ahead of the next Premier League campaign: "Bellingham's got to be a main target for Liverpool".
"I'm a big fan of him and Liverpool are lacking a number eight like him, who moves the game, gets into the box and gets you goals. Bellingham ticks all the boxes to be a big boost", he added.
