Join us for live coverage of the Men's Olympic football clash between Germany and Ivory Coast from group D at the Miyagi stadium in Rifu. The winner qualifies for the quarter-finals while the loser is almost certainly out.
FT: Germany 1-1 Ivory Coast!!! All over here and the Germans are out!!! Ivory Coast make the quarter-finals! Germany were better for the first 30 minutes, but then Ivory Coast picked up. A Henrichs own goal in the 67th minute saw Ivory Coast take the lead and despite Lowen scoring a free-kick nine minutes later, Germany, who got silver in 2016, couldn't get the crucial winner. They were the better team on the day, but came up just short.
95'
Germany send the ball forward, there a bit of pinball just outside the box and the ref gives a free-kick to the Ivorians for handball.
94'
Time is running out for Germany...
93'
Ivorian sub: Ouattara is on for Kouame.
93'
The Ivorians go up the other end as there's no defence, but good defending sees the move break down. Corner for the men in orange.
92'
Germany get a cortner, but the Ivorians deal with it. The GK goes up, but it makes no difference.
90'
Five added minutes here.
88'
Raum fouls Amad Diallo and he gets a vital free-kick.
What a goal!!!! Lowen hits the free-kick over the wall and into Tape's right hand corner! Top draw and now the Germans just need one!
73'
Free-kick to Germany as Bailly fouls Kruse.
70'
Save by Tape!!! Germany counter through Amiri, he passes to Teuchert who is denied by the GK!!!
69'
The Ivorians go forward again and Uduokhai has to concede the corner.
68'
I'd say a draw would be a fair result, but the Ivorians took their chance. Now Germany are in big trouble.
67'
Ivory Coast take the lead!!! Now Germany need 2!!! Singo's long throw into the box, is flicked on by Gradel, the ball then hits Kouame and Henrichs turns the ball into his own goal as Dao goes for the ball!!!
65'
Kouame!!! Gradel's delivery is very good, but the header is straight at Muller!
Ivory Coast sub: Doumbia has gone down again and he has been replaced by Man Utd's Amad Diallo.
53'
Doumbia goes down and seems to have a problem in his right leg. The magic spray comes out.
51'
Free-kick to the Ivorians in midfield.
50'
Chance for Richter!! He goes for the volley at the back post, but he hits wide.
50'
And another corner for Germany.
49'
A low cross by the Germans is turned behind for a corner.
48'
Shouts for handball by the German players, but the ball hits Dabila on the top of the arm. Not a penalty.
47'
Germany attack down the far side, but Richter's cross goes behind for a goal-kick.
46'
Germany get us going again!
45'
Germany HT sub: Lowen is on, Arnold is unsurprisingly replaced. Arnold had seen red already in the tourney.
45'
HT: Germany 0-0 Ivory Coast! Half-time in Rifu and Germany were the much better team in the first 30 minutes. Ache hit the post with a header while he and Richtung also tested the keeper on other occasions. However, the Ivorians were on top in the 15 minutes and Kouame could have easily scored. They will argue Germany should be with 10 men after Arnold stepped on an opponent and was very lucky not to see a second yellow. Germany need a goal. join us shortly for the second 45!
45'
45+2: Corner for the Ivorians just before the break.
45'
45+1: The Ivorians are definitely finishing the stronger.
45'
Two added minutes here.
44'
Ivory Coast get themselves a corner, but nothing comes of it.
43'
Arnold stands on Kouame's leg and he has already been booked. He's very lucky not to see a second yellow there.
42'
Amiri!!! A ball into the area finds the head of Ache, who lays off to Amiri and his shot is deflected over the goal! Amiri was offside anyway.
41'
Kouame!!! The men in orange come forward and Kouame heads the ball over the goal!
38'
Germany continue to attack, but they are looking less dangerous than earlier on in the game. I think it will be goalless at the interval.
34'
Dabila has gone down here after possibly being caught by an opponent as he went for an opponent. He has now limped to the area behind the goal. It may be his leg actually.
33'
Positive play by the Ivorians now as Diallo put s a ball in the middle for Dao and Torunarigha gets in there to concede the corner.
32'
Ache makes a great run down the middle and Bailly dispossesses him just outside the box.
Arnold has his name taken after bringing down Singo from behind.
29'
60% possession for the Germans.
28'
Bailly is caught on the far side by Ache, but the German did nothing wrong. Bailly's foot catches Ache accidentally in his follow through. Never a foul.
26'
Ache hits the bar!!! Kruse goes down the far side and he cuts back for Ache whose header hits the crossbar! The Ivorians are hanging on here.
25'
Shots: 6-2, on target: 1-0.
25'
The ref stops play as Arnold collides with Leodan Gonzalez!!! Both are perfectly fine to continue.
23'
Kouame has a pop from just outside the area, but it curls wide of the far post.
23'
Ivory Coast claim a penalty at the other end after Kouame is through on his own on the counter, but the ref says no!
22'
Richter goes for the acrobatic effort after a lovely chest control, but it's easy for the GK.
20'
Keita is booked for a foul.
19'
A long ball forward sees Ache get his head to the ball, but he can't direct it towards goal.
15'
Henrichs fouls Gradel from behind and the Ivorians get a free-kick.
13'
Keita catches Amiri in the face with his hand and a foul is given. No card though.
11'
And another chance for Richter!!! His shot sees Tape tip the strike round the post!!

8'
Good chance for Ache!!! Kruse's long cross into the area finds Ache and he heads wide at the far stick!
6'
Free-kick to Ivory Coast after Gradel fouls Richter.
4'
A ball into the box finds Ache in the area, but his touch is poor and he's offside.
4'
Germany are playing the more positive stuff here as they really need to win. A draw is enough for the Ivorians.
2'
Good chance for the Germans as Kruse hits over the crossbar, but he was offside.
Yellow card for Ivory Coast after 11 seconds after Kouame catches Torunarigha with a stray arm.
1'

Start of match
PRVW
The rain is coming down hard here during the anthems and a small crowd is in.
PRVW
The players come out here!!
PRVW
Leodan Gonzalez of Uruguay is the referee for this one. We also have VAR.
PRVW
Man Utd fans will recognise Eric Bailly in the Ivorian XI and AC Milan's Franck Kessie is also there.
PRVW
Doumbia, Keita and Kouame come in from Ivory Coast's 0-0 draw with Brazil. Ouattra, Kouassi (suspended) and Man Utd's Amad Diallo drop out.
PRVW
Pieper (suspended), Teuchert and Lowen are replaced by Torunarigha, Arnold and Richter from Germany's 2-3 win against Saudi Arabia.
PRVW
The other match sees Brazil play Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia are out, Brazil secure a last eight with a draw. They will even qualify with a loss if Germany lose. If Germany don't lose, only a heavy defeat eliminates Brazil. Something miraculous.
PRVW
Here, it's very simple. The winner goes through, the loser goes out. If it's a draw, Ivory Coast are through and Germany would need Brazil to lose by three goals to already eliminated Saudi Arabia. Ivory Coast can qualify with a loss, but Brazil would have to lose by two more goals than what they do.
PRVW
Group D sees Brazil top on 4 points, Ivory Coast on 4, Germany on 3 and Saudi Arabia on 0. The top two go through to the quarters.
