Gattuso wants to sign Demme and Politano from Napoli

Gennaro Gattuso continues to keep a close eye on the international scene with the firm idea of strengthening Valencia, the club he has committed to as his new coach.

And after calling for the signing of Jean-Charles Castelletto, the Italian coach has now turned his attention to two other potential players. They are Matteo Politano and Diego Demme, both of whom he knows very well from his two seasons at Napoli.

Politano, 28, has renewed his contract with the Italian club until 2024. After his third season at Napoli, he has scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists in 109 appearances.

In a similar situation is Demme, also under contract until 2024 with Napoli, where he has been with the club for two and a half years. In total, he has played 82 games, scored five goals and provided four assists. 

'Corriere dello Sport' claims that Gattuso has already asked the Sapnish club's board to sign both players, who would welcome the possibility of leaving Napoli in search of a higher profile.
