Fulham game stopped due to medical emergency

Fulham's Championship match with Blackpool has seen the players taken off the pitch with just 16 minutes on the clock due to a medical emergency. 

Alexandar Mitrovic had put the hosts ahead at Craven Cottage with just six minutes on the clock through the Serbian, but 10 minutes later, there was a medical incident in the Hammersmith End and play was paused. 

After five minutes, the players were taken off the field while the supporter continued to be attended to. Medical emergencies have been happening far too frequently recently and Blackburn's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough on Monday night was stopped for the same reason. On that occasion, the players did not leave the field. 

The Fulham game is not the only game stopped as Oldham's League Two fixture with Rochdale on Saturday has been stopped for the same reason, but that game has since resumed after a 20 minute stoppage. We wish both supporters a speedy recovery.
