The Scottish international scored twice in the first half to give the hosts the lead, the first a sumptuous curling effort, before a Josh King penalty made sure that the home side went in at the interval three goals to the good after Ricardo Pereira was adjudged to have handled.
Wes Morgan's second-half red card for a clumsy challenge on Dan Gosling pretty much summed up Leicester's afternoon and it soon got even worse as Adam Smith further extended the lead with just nine minutes to go, crisply sweeping home a cut-back from Fraser, but a late Leicester comeback took some off the shine off the result.
First, Diego Rico tripped Ricardo Pereira in the box, allowing James Maddison to get the visitors on the scoresheet from the spot, before Marc Albrighton nodded home a Kelechi Iheanacho cross just a minute later to reduce the deficit further.
However, it proved too little, too late for the former Premier League champions, who have picked up just six points from five games so far this season. Bournemouth move into fifth, above Arsenal and Tottenham.
