Fran Garcia called up for Spain, replaces injured Bernat

The Spanish national team is now in 'Las Rozas' training complex ahead of the Final Four of the UEFA Nations League. Luis de la Fuente's men will face Italy on Thursday in the semi-finals.

However, the squad has had to face some setbacks that have come in the form of injuries. David Garcia was the first to leave, and soon after Nico Williams followed in his footsteps.

Unfortunately, on Monday the Spanish squad shared the news of another change to their lineup. Juan Bernat has an injury and will be replaced by Fran Garcia, Real Madrid's recent signing.

In fact, it's been a big day for the 23-year-old, who was presented officially in the morning, and received the news of his call-up this afternoon. A great day for the left-back, who could make his debut with the national team in style.
