Forster close to Tottenham

Tottenham could be close to making their first signing for the 2022-23 campaign. The Spurs, already back in the Champions League, have Fraser Forster in their agenda

The goalkeeper, who is not going to renew his contract with Southampton, will leave the English club on 30th June and everything seems to indicate that his destination will be Antonio Conte's team.

That is what 'Daily Mail' reports, which even notes that Forster passed the relevant medical with the club a few days ago. The announcement may come soon.

Last season (2021-22), the goalkeeper made 24 appearances and Southampton finished 15th in the Championship with 40 points, five above the relegation zone.
