Saturday’s Brazilian Serie A clash sees an in-form Fluminense host Chapecoense, as the home side look to grab another three home points against the relegation candidates.
Coming into the season it wasn't expected that Fluminense would do much in Serie A, given their fairly weak squad, but Abel Braga’s side have started very well, winning an impressive 10 points from their opening 6 matches, which has put them them 5th.
Furthermore, they have been very hard to beat at home, picking up 7 points against strong opponents Cruzeiro, Sao Paulo and Atlético PR.
Meanwhile, visitors Chapecoense look set to fight it out in the relegation battle at the other end of the table. After 6 games, they have only won once, and sit just one place above the relegation spots.
If you had to bet on who the points will go to on Saturday, the home side would be the obvious option, but Gilson Kleina’s men will be hoping to turn their fortunes around.
