Finland's nations league fixtures

With four games played in group 4 of League B in the Nations League competition, Finland have so far achieved some impressive results.

Finland didn't make the best start to the competition registering a 0-1 loss to a Wales. Gareth Bale, the start of their opponents team, came off at half time in the clash as Kieffer Moore headed home a late Wales winner.

Despite the shaky start, Finland came back strong with a 2-0 win against Bulgaria as well as overcoming the Republic of Ireland twice, both wins with a 1-0 scoreline.  

Finland now face an uphill struggle with two away games, the first at Bulgaria, and the other at Wales. All eyes will be on the second clash which will likely feature a rejuvenated Gareth Bale after his incorporation into the Spurs squad. The Welshman could be a major threat to the side after struggling to make an impact in their first clash.

The Veikkausliiga, Finland's national league, is coming up to a close finish with only 4 points between the top 3 teams. With first place HJK and third place Inter Turku still having a game left to play, the end to the season could be extraordinarily close.
