Minister for Work in Colombia Gloria Ines Ramirez listened to the representatives from Colombian Football's Main Division's (Dimayor) requests and the Colombian Association of Professional Footballers' following the complaint put in by the Central Unit of Workers who were looking for collective negotiations in the sector.
Therefore, a "table of voluntary work, taking a line of conciliation, looking for the alternative to social dialogue to look for a way out" was set up, Ramirez explained.
In the meeting, a "route" which allows "to find solutions in a congenial way to this situation" was studied, and a new meeting for the 17th February has been planned, where it is expected that Colombian clubs turn up.
Colombian football has been under the spotlight after the U17 Women's national team came second at their World Cup and controversy sparked because they do not have a national league.
