Fenerbahce use Ozil to try and persuade Boateng

Boateng's contract at Bayern expires in June. From then on, he will be able to go anywhere for free. 

Fenerbahce do not want to pass up this opportunity to get an experienced defender in Boateng. They are already weighing up the footballer. 

'Fotospor' says that they are trying to use Ozil to get Boateng to try his luck at Fenerbahce. The pair played together in Germany and they have a very good relationship. They want the midfielder to persuade him to come and for them to play together once again. 

Fenerbahce, if they want to get hold of Boateng, will have a stiff competitor to see off. Chelsea also reportedly have the central defender on their radar for the 2021-22 season.
