Since Faith Karagumruk decided to sign an out of favour Emre Mor from Celta Vigo, the footballer completely changed his mentality and played at a very high level in the Turksih Superleague.
The forward put up excellent numbers in the club that will be managed by the legendary Andrea Pirlo next season. In 29 games played he scored six games and got four assists. In fact, last season was the best goalscoring season of his career.
The Turkish international deserves more credit, if we take into account that he had only scored one goal in the last three seasons (Celta, Galatasaray and Olympiacos). The goal was beautifully made, and was scored against UD Llanera in Copa del Rey with a Celta shirt in the 2020-21 season. Given this resurgence, Fenerbahce, a historic club in Turkish football, wanted to sign him.
The runners up of the Turkish Superliga announced that: "Our club has reached an agreement in principle with Fatih Karagumruk Club and the player himself for the transfer of Emre Mor".
