The FA will investigate the incidents of coin-throwing towards Pep Guardiola after the game between Liverpool and Man City at Anfield.
Several Liverpool fans threw coins at the Spanish manager from the stands after the Premier League game which Liverpool won 1-0 thanks to a Salah goal.
When asked about it in the press room, Guardiola said: "Next time we'll do it better, didn't get me, they'll try again next year".
What is more, Liverpool condemned chants against the Hillsborough victims which the away fans sung, as well as graffiti about the event, in which 97 Liverpool fans lost their lives in 1989.
"We know the impact that this type of behaviour can have on the families of the victims and the survivors of these disasters", Liverpool said in a statement.
