Ex-Barcelona midfielder signs for Swiss club Sion

Song joined Barcelona in 2012 from Arsenal, after impressing in the Premier League for the 'Gunners' in partnership with the likes of striker Robin Van Persie in attack to provide 11 assists in the 2011-12 campaign.

Despite signing a 5-year contract with the Catalan giants, he spent just 2 seasons at the club before being loaned out to Premier League outfit West Ham.

The former Cameroon international spent that last two seasons in Russia playing for Rubin Kazan but have been without a club since leaving them in January of this year.

He has signed a 2-year deal with the Swiss team, who are currently fifth in their league after four games of the season.
