Everton's Oviedo sent to hospital with chest infection

Everton have confirmed that Costa Rica international, Bryan Oviedo has been admitted to hospital with a chest infection after having trouble breathing on Wednesday morning.

The 26-year-old has passed on his thanks to his fans for their well wishes after he was taken to a medical facility having suffered chest pains and struggled to breathe on Wednesday morning.

The club is in doubt whether he will be able to play in Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea at Goodison Park.
