There are certain players in football who have an inflated opinion of themselves. One of these is Milan player Zlatan Ibrahimovic, or even Samuel Eto'o, who has recently made clear that he does not need people's approval to boast about his great sporting career.
While recording a documentary about the rapper Dinos, the Cameroon player was asked about his past in a Barca shirt, and he did not hesitate in saying that out of the strike-trio of him, Messi and Henry, he was the second best.
"I don't think he was on Anelka's level. He was good, but I prefered others. In any event, at my level he wasn't comfortable", the ex-Barcelona player claimed about the Frenchman.
The numbers show it too, as he scored 371 goals during his club career, to which his 56 national-team goals should be added. However, Henry ended his career with 365 club goals and 51 for France. Therefore, Eto'o was speaking the truth with regards to his goal-scoring, but as they always say, it is about more than just goals.
