Ethiopia drawn alongside Ghana in World Cup qualifying

Ethiopia have been drawn in Group G and will come up against Ghana. The group is one of the trickier groups as it sees as 2010 World Cup hosts South Africa are also in it. Zimbabwe are the other side.

One team will go through to the 3rd round and matches will get underway October, and teams will play each other twice.

Ghana are currently the favourites to progress as they are ranked highest in the World rankings (47th). South Africa are the 2nd highest (71st), followed by Zimbabwe (111st) and then Ethiopia (146tth).
