Liverpool faced West Ham in Saturday's 4pm kick-offs (CET) looking to maintain their push for Champions League qualification with three points at Anfield.
They started in the best fashion, taking the lead in the 29th minute through midfielder Emre Can.
From a corner on the right-hand side, the 'Reds' whipped the ball into the box and found the German, who headed home his sixth of the season - he's best tally for the club since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014.
However, the goal also had another significance as it meant Liverpool have netted 100 times in all competitions this season, largely due to the prolific performances of their forward trident of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. With lots of games still left, it seems there's no stopping the 'Reds' on the attack.
