David Beckham played for Manchester United for nine seasons and still hasn't forgotten that stage of his career. He played 392 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 85 goals.
The current Inter Miami owner, who has signed Lionel Messi in recent weeks, gave an interview to 'The Athletic' and admitted that his departure from United was very painful.
"I always felt I would start my career at Manchester United and end my career at Manchester United. I had no intention of leaving at any point and I didn't want to play for any other club," he claimed.
"For the next three years [after leaving], I couldn't even watch United on television. Being at United, and supporting them, for as long as I had, it was obviously upsetting."
