Dzeko and Zapata, potential replacements for Lukaku at Inter

While just a few days ago it didn't seem likely that Romelu Lukaku would leave Inter, now his departure is looking closer than ever to being confirmed.

Chelsea look set to sign the Belgian for 115 million euros and those in Milan are already looking for a replacement. The money brought in for Lukaku will leave the club with enough to sign a wing-back and two new forwards.

According to information from 'Sky Sport', Duvan Zapata is one of the main candidates to reinforce Inter's firepower. The Colombian scored 19 goals for Atalanta in 2020/21, as well as providing 12 assists. Another name that has been linked with a move to Milan is Edin Dzeko, who will certainly add a wealth of experience up top with his 35 years-of-age.

The Bosnian continues to maintain a high level of form. Last season he scored 13 goals and provided four assists last season for Roma. Alongside the two aforementioned, other players linked with a move have been Luka Jovic and Paulo Dybala.
