Dzagoev became first casaulty of World Cup

After a busy season with their respective clubs, some players' bodies will certainly be feeling the strain of a major tournament.

That was the case for Russia's Dzagoev as he became the first casaulty of the World Cup in just the 23rd minute of the opening match.

The hosts took on Saudi Arabia in the first Group A match but were forced into an early substitution when Dzagoev pulled his hamstring while running to chase down a ball.

Denis Cheryshev was brought on in his place and was the scorer of Russia's second goal, helping to ease the blow of losing one of their star players.
