Ducks not just at The Ashes: Duck stops play in England!

The Ashes was not the only place we saw ducks last night. In the League One clash between Fleetwood Town and Bolton Wanderers, a duck got onto the pitch, close to the corner flag given the temperature and the inclement weather was ideal for it. 

The video of it went viral on social media. Animals stopping play is always a fans' favourite and the fact it was a duck, was even more interesting given it came just hours before the start of the Ashes test match between Australia and England which saw three England batters get a duck (no runs). 

The players noticed it and they let the duck run off the pitch by itself and the game carried on.

In the game, Fleetwood got a 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers thanks to a goal from Garner and a brace from Biggins. With the three points, the home side are not just one point off safety.
