Granada manager, Diego Martinez, emphasised that "the victories give confidence and confidence feeds conviction" after getting his team its third win in a row against Alavés (2-1), which means that he now has two wins in the league and another one in the Europa League.
"I am very happy with the attitude of the team, it has been a very demanding and complicated week that we overcame in the best way, it is difficult to win in a week like this after such an atypical preseason", indicated Diego Martinez in a press conference after the clash.
The manager congratulated his team "for having won and, above all, for making the effort to want to improve" in a "good match" for Granada in which his team had "a very good first half".
"We deserved to reach half time ahead. Until the goal, not much had happened, but after the first one, we had chances to score at least another goal. The second half was more equal, we lacked precision even with the score in our favour to make counterattacks," he said as a summary of the match.
