Following the win over Nantes, Massimiliano Allegri spoke to 'Sky Sport' and heaped praise on Angel Di Maria, who scored a hat-trick to seal Juventus' victory and qualification for the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League.
"Champions are different from the others, so everything is simple, it's not that it's complicated. When you have a player like that, it raises the level of the team, everyone else is calmer and then he sees things that others don't see," said the coach.
And in the same vein, he added: "As I have always said, it is a matter of players' status, there are champions, there are good players, there are less good players, and he belongs to the category of champions".
As for the game, Allegri added: "I'm happy with the game, especially because it wasn't easy after the result of the first leg. Here the crowd pushes a lot, even at the end at 3-0 they were cheering the team on. We played a good game, after the 2-0 with them down to one, we definitely had some advantages".
Finally, he gave his opinion on Juventus' current form: "We shouldn't think that if we're out of the Champions League then the Europa League is easy. There are great teams and, without doubt, we have the duty to go all the way to the final, as in the Coppa Italia. In Serie A we're far away, but we're picking up points.
