Gerard Deulofeu, who had two spells at Barcelona, was sincere when speaking about his time at the Catalans and told radio programme 'Que T'hi Jugues' on 'Cadena SER' that he would not return. "I wasn't good enough," he said.
The Catalan then spoke to 'CBS' to talk about his future. In particular, about interest from Unai Emery's Aston Villa.
"It has happened to me other times in my career. I've learned to play football and in life you have to live in the present and be happy.
"I want to stay here and the future doesn't interest me. Whatever has to happen, will happen," Deulofeu added, ruling out the possibility of being closer to returning to the Premier League.
