This source affirms that Godín will sign for three years. He would be at the side until 2023.

His wage would be considerably reduced. Now he would be earning around 5 million euros. Once he signs for Cagliari he will earn 2.5.

Godín had no place in Antonio Conte's plans, so the Milan club have looked for an exit for him after a year there.
