Dele Alli welcomes Doherty with a slap

Being a new signing at Tottenham is a risky business. Dele Alli welcomed Matt Doherty to the squad in unconventional fashion before he had even played for the club!

The England international uploaded the video to his social media. In it, he gave Doherty a slap for his new haircut.

But Doherty wasn't the only but of Dele's jokes. Steven Berwijn was also on the receiving end after he got a new cut ahead of their game against West Ham.

It isn't the first time that Dele Alli has joked about and attracted criticism. He was punished by the FA for mocking coronavirus before it hit Europe.
