The Tottenham youngster played 80 minutes of England's 2-1 win over Tunisia on Monday despite picking up a thigh strain during the first half.
However, it has left Alli an uphill battle to be available for the 'Three Lions' second group match, where they will play a physical Panamanian side, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek lined up as his potential replacement.
The midfielder hasn't given up yet though and took to Twitter to give supporters and update on the situation.
Accompanied by a picture of Alli with head coach Gareth Southgate, he wrote: "Frustrating to have picked up a slight injury on Monday.
"Will do everything in my power to get back to full fitness asap! #ThreeLions".
