Dele Alli, not long ago, was one of England's future stars. However, after bursting onto the scene at a very young age, he is no longer the player he was. He is now just another Premier League player.
In fact, he has not been an important footballer at Tottenham for a while. Mourinho tried to get Alli back to his best, but without succes. Now, Antonio Conte is not giving him the game time Dele Alli is looking for.
Dele Alli was one of those singled out during the FA Cup tie against Morecambe. Spurs were losing against a third tier side when the manager took him off the pitch. He was taken off at the same time as Bryan Gil and Ndombele and they were booed by the home crowd.
'Sky Sports' reports that Conte has so little faith in Alli that the player has decided to pack his bags and leave the North London outfit this January. At the moment, it is not known whether he has any offers, but the player is clear he does not want to stay at Tottenham until the end of the campaign.
This season, Alli has made 18 appearances, although just 10 of them were in the Premier League. Conte has given him more game time in the Europa Conference League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup. In total, he has scored two goals and given one assist in 1044 minutes.
