The 'Clasico' between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich did not disappoint. The Bavarian side had all three points in hand, but in the end Dortmund were able to snatch a draw in stoppage time.
The excitement and the fight gave way, for a few moments, to concern. Jude Bellingham and Alphonso Davies were involved in a big clash in which the full-back took a heavy blow to the head.
The Bayern Munich player, according to the Bavarian club, had to be hospitalised because of suspicions of concussion, team coach Julian Nagelsmann said after the match.
Bellingham, who at that stage of the game (just before half-time) already had a yellow card, escaped a second yellow card and therefore a red card for that action.
The Borussia Dortmund player was quick to apologise to Alphonso Davies for the action that led to the Canadian full-back's injury.
"Apologies for the collision Davies, hope you’re feeling better as soon as possible," he posted on Twitter.
