Danilo, offered to Barça who prefer Ruben Neves

Danilo, according to information revealed by 'Sport', has been offered to the Catalan giants. He is one of the latest Brazilian players to become fashionable in Europe. He is a 21-year-old left-footed defensive midfielder who has won Tite's call for the Brazilian national team.

His agents, Kia Joorabichian and Giuliano Bertolucci, are the same agents who represent Philippe Coutinho, so that is where the contact between the two parties stems from. Despite the offer, it seems that Barcelona have other plans for the position.

The aforementioned source claims that the favourite to compete and make the starting line-up difficult for Busquets is Ruben Neves, from Wolves. He is a more experienced player, while Danilo still has some way to go before he can be considered a guaranteed starter.
