Brazil started their World Cup well. Tite's men beat Serbia 2-0, but nothing everything is good news. The side is on tenterhooks for Neymar, who got alarm bells ringing after receiving a strong tackle which resulted in an ankle sprain.
Danilo, who started the game, spoke to 'Marca'. He was not happy about the brutality they received and that they are going to suffer in the future. "What can we do? Let's hope that they protect the players who are really good with the ball. We have to be prepared for that type of situation..." he commented.
The Brazil defender said they have spoken about it in the dressing room. "We've said that we need to be mentally strong going in to these games", he said.
About Neymar, he said he had "a problem with his ankle". "Right now it's a bit swollen", he revealed. Danilo was confident that it will not be a problem for the rest of the tournament: "He's really important for us, we're hoping it's nothing serious".
Elsewhere, Danilo praised Spain's level after they beat Costa Rica 7-0. "They're a great side, with very technical and quick players. Spain are Spain and I'm sure they'll go far in the competition. Are they more or less favourites than Brazil? All I'm saying is that they're a great team", he finished by saying.
